don't know why but the more i pack my room... the "messier" it seems to get. sigh.

hello!

yesterday i had a fantastic christmas gathering with my classmates. my first so called christmas party. we had the usual gift exchange and mr teo came to join in the fun!

the unusual thing was that we cooked most of our food. michelle brought her mom speciality shepard's pie and the rest of the food were cooked at dorea's house by us! the girls helped with the cutting of the food and me, joel and dorea's maid did most of the cooking! i guess the food wasn't too bad because no one complained :P lol.

thanks to dorea's family for generously allowing us to mess up their kitchen quite a bit!

shao hsien the giant eater! he looks thin but he got abs and eats alot! i dumped like a mountain hill of spaghetti on his plate (haha was trying to clear the food because there were too much) and he finished it! pretty amazing given that it was his third serving already *gasp*. hope that i could eat so much like him. his stomach is really like a bottomless pit. on the contrary, the girls ate so little we overestimated their appetite which explains for the excess food haha.

i actually picked aik ling to exchange my gift with. the irony...

Mr Teo was really sweet he wrapped these random miniature perfumes and separated them into those for males and females. we were told to pick our gift, unwrapped them and test whether we like the smell. if not we can still exchange with one another. i got a raulph lauren POLO BLACK perfume.

after that for the post-eating segment of the party we played this game which involves bloating ourselves with water. our fate depends on which card we picked.

mingming, yeowlin and yongkang terribly bloated after drinking about 7 cups of water. luckily yongkang and mingming have got the toilet pass! poor yeowlin. people adjacent to the one who got sabo-ed to drink must also drink a cup of water each which explain the plight of the three people above because yeowlin was rather unlucky lol. poor rongkang had to drink even more cups of water (probably about 12 cups in total) because he forgot to perform the actions that people have introduced as new additional rules for the game.

haha look at mingming looking depressed... she was probably on high tide. dorea was feeding bao jun because we were not allowed to use our own hands to drink. this rule was introduced halfway in the game.

really unhappy with my dad. today me and my mom are planning to go to IKEA to get some stuffs for our old house. unfortunately, IKEA doesn't give out plastic bags and some of the items that I am planning to buy are rather bulky. so it would be quite a hassle to carry them on the MRT (my mother doesn't have a driving license).

I researched and sort of know how to drive there, but the problem is I don't know how to drive! I want to teach my dad who claims that he doesn't know the directions, but I guess he is more interested in playing this rather stupid online game (most of my friends despise it) call MAPLESTORY. I mean come to think of it, it is quite hilarious for an adult like him to play such a game. his account has got a level 124 character I think, what a joke. I once complained about this on my blog and he cut down on his addiction but now he is back to playing again. He even printed like one whole pile of notes on maplestory (I know you are sniggering), and calenders are filled with random scribblings of maplestory usernames (for his use) which make them really unsightly.

ok enough of this, just wanted to get this off my chest. I am more than motivated to get a driving license and a decent-paying job in the future (LOL! this is highly impossible but it is okay to dream right).

sigh i guess no one really visit this half-dead blog now but it is time for revival i guess.

anyway my proficiency in the english language is just really horrible. was trying to apply for the DSTA scholarship at the very last minute yesterday and wrote the application essay in a hurry. it was a really screwed up essay and michelle and me laughed so hard while reading the disjoint essay outloud and trying to edit it an hour before the application deadline (deadline was by 11 December 2007).

got my prom dvd today. basically it just consists of a whole collection of random pictures taken by our school's photographer zhong wei.

going out with my mom tomorrow to her friend's spectacle shop to make a black-rimmed spectacles to prepare for army. speaking of army, i feel really unprepared. sigh.

quite a lot of things happened during the looong absence from blogging but i am too lazy to update them now. will update soon on the latest happenings when i take more pictures!
